The Iconic Speaker Network Member Kevin Higgins: A Maestro Behind the Scenes in NYC's Entertainment Scene

In the bustling metropolis of New York City, Kevin Higgins stands as a multifaceted force in the world of podcasting, film, and TV production. Kevin's journey began a decade ago when he took on the role of an actor in the web series "Pinheads," which eventually found its way to Amazon Prime. Not confined to acting, Kevin emerged as a pivotal figure behind the scenes, providing insightful notes on the script, securing funding, and actively contributing to the show's social media growth.

Kevin's foray into production deepened when he assumed the role of agent assistant at Righteous Talent. Despite initial reservations, Nurisha, the agency head, recognized Kevin's potential. His responsibilities ranged from submitting talent to various projects, organizing auditions, acting as a liaison between casting directors and the agency, to managing online databases for bookings and payments.

Beyond his agency role, Kevin ventured into podcasting with his narrative, "What I Just Saw." Here, he took charge of casting, dealt with SAG for union registration, and managed recordings, showcasing his diverse skill set. Subsequently, Kevin produced podcast narratives for others, displaying prowess in talent coordination, scheduling, and, in the case of "Empaths vs. Narcissists," even taking on the role of an editor. In the realm of interviews, Kevin's proficiency shines as he not only schedules podcasts but cultivates relationships with high-profile publicists from firms like 42 West and Turk Entertainment.

Kevin's film experience encompasses work as a PA for independent filmmaker AJ Cross, where he carried and set up equipment, acted as a co-director and cinematographer, and created behind-the-scenes materials. His contributions to a short film at a gala event included setting up and putting away tables and props, along with coordinating background actors.
